man if ya do it right the fridge !! Tarzets have one done up and it can hold way more eggs and it stays at areally constant temp i would go that way as matter of fact i am going to do that in the very near future;)

i heard good stuff about them fridges.. :D.. i might make one.. if i do.. out of a bar one or something.. so it wont be too big.. i have a like a normal big one.. but naw.. too big.. i wnat a lil one so i can watch it in my room.. :D.. any other opinions?

Yes I agree with Jason, I started with a small freezer that I made into an incubator.

I saw a little "how to" on the "other" web site.

It was just a styrofoam cooler with a jar of water in it. You put a fishtank heater in the jar. Once you adjust the temp properly, it should stay constant, the humidity comes from the heated water. If you get a thermometer with a probe...you wouldn't have to open it very often. I don't know much about incubating eggs but it sounded easy and inexpensive to me.

Our incubator is a sytrofoam box that we fit somewhere in our snake room. The temps fluctuate between 80 to 84 which is reasonable. Of the babies we hatched one clutch was good, the other had 4/13 babes kinked and the third 5/12 kinked. I'm not sure if it's temps or what? We have hatched out some lizards from the same incubator with no problems.

i've got a stryo incubater
it works fin but you're limited to the number of eggs you can incubate at one time
instead of a fish tank heater i use a uth
inside the cooler

I would have gone with one but, I don't need to use a big one because I a only doing veileds. I made it the other day out of a old rubbermaid container and it works great.
