Well after about a month of getting my tank ready I got everything where it was supposed to be. Here is what my tank looks like

Thanks too Slannesh for all the help he gave me setting it up. Temps are right, and I don't even have to mist to keep humidity @ 60%.
Here's the little guy I got
http://onelittlecoconut.com/images/coconut%20stuff/1.JPG
Picture is kinda blurry I'll get a better one after he has become one with his new home. He seemed kinda stressed from the ride home. His name is Fred for now, that what he was named so until I come up with something better he's Fred. I put him in their and he crawled right into one of the PVC tubes has been their ever since. Now comes the hardest part leaving him alone for 2 weeks so he can get used to his new home. :grumps:
He was on F/T Fuzzies, I'm going to try and switch him to Rats ASAP, already got one in the freezer. Figured I would try and feed him in about 5 days. I guess my only question at this point is, I'm still not 100% sure on all the Size terminology. This is what I've picked up so far, feel free to correct my mistakes.
Pinkie mice = smallest mice
Hoppers
Fuzzies
Then I'm not sure what would come after fuzzies. For Rats I got no clue what the scale is. If someone could enlighten me that would be great.
Fuzzies come before hoppers. then its pretty much medium adults and large adults. Same with Rats. My female spring '02 BP is eating medium sized rats. For her age she should be onto larger (i think) but she stopped eating for a bit and now will only eat freshly killed. So much for all those frozen rats in the freezer!
Good luck with your new BP, enjoy him!
fred is sweet kathy. great setup as well. im sure hell enjoy his new home. good luck with him!

if he is on fuzzies, bp's can take adult mice right out of the egg.......get him onto rats that are about the same size as adult mice..........
NICE enclosure and beautiful bp!

Het
I got him at this reptile store that has been aroud for about 15 years. They specialize in Reptiles, Fish and Amphipians (sp?). The Place is called Pet Managerie, it is down at Parlament and Dundas in Toronto. The Place was clean, staff seemed knowledgable and it has been established for so long, it seemed like the right choice for me.
Tiger
He is about 6 months old.

Looks great Vengeance. I know you will be happy with your new snake. Just make sure that top is escape proof. :)

99% positive it is escape proof. I have the wire lid that snaps down around the entire tank. Then underneath the wire, what you can't see in my picture of the tank is a plexi glass lid with holes drilled in it. He would have to push the plexi glass and the wire lid to be able to squeeze himself out. I know snakes are strong but I don't think he is that strong.

Isn't it an awesome setup? I love it. He worked his *** off on that thing and not only is it ideal for Fred, its a beautiful showcase for this magnificant animal. I love the fact that we can enjoy his company and, hopefully, at some point he ours.
Considering I wasn't a snake lover prior to Fred's arrival in our house, Vengeance's efforts have not only given Fred a great home but converted me completely. Even my mother is coming around which is clearly a miracle in itself. Nice to know she'll still be coming to visit :D .
So far so good. Can't wait until he gets a big more comfortable so we can get better acquainted. We are afterall gonna be roomies for the next dozen years or so ;).

Looks Great Vengance
Now go buy a rubbermaid and lock him in a closet instead :P
(just in case it's not TOTALLY obvious the above line was sarcasm :) )
I think your little guy will be quite happy in there for a long time to come. Just keep an eye on the humidity and temps and everything should be AOK.
Best of luck!

Haha hilarious :).
Its amazing how much fun I have in the rubber container aisle of department stores now. Everytime I see one I picture some nut jumping out at me trying to make me buy one. Its an official ongoing joke in our house now to randomly bring up rubbermaids in general conversation. Its like the uber answer to everything. In fact, I just thought of the best friggin idea for a stocking stuffer for Vengeance MUHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. ph33r teh rUbB3Rm@!d$!!! Oh heck i'm just gonna buy one for everyone on my list ;). They won't have any clue why i'm laughing myself into hysterics in the corner of the room.
