Nice! Motley is my favorite pattern muttation. I've got a pair of corns that are het for hypo, motley and lavender. I hoping to produce some motley lavenders next year. This year I pairing my anery het for hypo with a hypo motley so that in a few years I can make motley ghost.
Cheers,
Trevor

Very nice Simon. Not a lot of yellow in the amel motley. Is it from crimson or candy cane lines? Very pretty. Love the snow motleys too.

Beautiful! Our motley amel just shed. How old are they ,or how big *long* are they before they start to get yellow? Ours just seem to get redder and redder! She is just starting to get a little orange at her nose, very little though. She is going on 4 months this 14th.
p.s
What kind of shavings are those? They look like the pine one's that we use for our rabbit.

Gorgeous as per usual Simon....
Sapphire, the reason I know this is cuz Simon told me what to use for my corn, they are Aspen shavings.

Ahhh our aspen is shredded then.
Trevor,
wow~
nice future projects. I too am working with the lavender motleys. (They're way too expensive to buy right now..lol..)
But I am going to be working with teh pewter x lavender this year. Hoping to produce normal het lavender, charcoal and bloodred. So that I can try and get some lavender pewter, lavender bloodred and even lavender charcoal (but I think that lav masks the other..but what the heck..just a try...lol never hurts to try) So should be a fun project to work with before I leave....lol... Good luck with your projects!
Mary,
sigh...you so know me...I am really a candy cane freak..I love all the candy canes....so yes...I am trying to work with candy cane motleys....so that is why I have been selectively breeding these...but as of yet there is none that is even close to what I expect in a candy cane motley...but I am on the way there...time will tell....lol..it's hard because the motely genes kind of screws it up...making it harder to selective breed.....sigh...but hard work will payoff sometime or another~ muhahahahah
sapphire_moon,
well some develop the yellow some don't. So can really say how 'long' of a size it would get before it starts to develop the yelllow. I have some that were born with the little yellow chin...and some get them when they're adults....so can't really say. But either way, as long as it's a corn I'll like it~
lol....(that's why I hate going to shows...it's like ever corn that I see I want to get them....lol)
I hate you Simon, I was slowly getting out of corns, and then I went and bought some amel stripes, and soon another ghost and possibly another anery.
Damn corns, everytime I try to get away from them.

LOL....yes...blame everything on me....I know I know...all my fault...
but hey you have to admit it
if you are a small snake person, getting a corn in your collection is a must~
and I don't think that I will ever live my life without corn snakes in my collection~
there are just way too many choices and patterns to choose from~ there has to be something that you like~lol...
Hey post some photos of the amel striped and the ghost and then later on, your soon to be anery corn~ lol
Trevor,
oh yeah...working with lavs is like one of the most exciting projects yet. I just have so many projects that I want to work with right now....just not enough lavs....only 6 of them...need more lavs~~~~
