How soon after importing him did you try to feed him? What is his setup like? Temps? What have you tried to get him to eat? Some snakes need to be left with a prey item overnight (NOT live prey in this case of course!).

He is in a 6x3x2 cage,i waited 1 week after getting him,to try to feed him, previous owner said that he has only taken live his whole life he is 3.5 years old,Temps are in the 80s substrate is newspaper.Tried to feed F/T rats but no luck, and i do not want to leave live in there to long as may stress the snake

I'm getting the impression you are just keeping one overall temp in the cage? Your boa should be provided with a gradient so he can choose his own temperatures. The low side should be 78/80 and the warm side should be around 90 or so. Let your snake give you the specifics... if he spends all his time on the cool side then lower the warm side, and vice versa.
