View Full Version : Don't wake the dead

A funeral service is being held for a woman who has just passed away. At the end of the service the pall bearers are carrying the casket out when they accidentally bump into a wall, jarring the casket. They hear a faint moan. They open the casket and find that the woman is actually alive. She lived for ten more years, and then dies peacefully.
A ceremony is again held at the same place, and at the end of the ceremony the pall bearers are again carrying out the casket. As they are walking, the husband cries out, "Watch the f*c**kin wall!""

Hehehe....good joke.
Scary thing. This has happened before. There are accounts of folks with a rare disease that makes them as though they are dead. A lady in Aussie has actually "died" 2 times with the parametics being called, sending her to the morgue where she awoke from her 'illness'. There is as well a lady here in the states that this has happened to on 3 occasions. I guess what the disease does is render them into a coma like state and the medical 'facilties' assume they have passed and send them to the morgue where they later recover, and I presume freak the hell out. Apparently a man had actually been buried and removed after being heard shouting in his casket. He also was afflicted with the same disease. Freaky a$$ stuff.....

Yeah Ive heard of that happening too. Apparently they can sometimes hear and see things going on in the mortuary too, but cant do anything about it!
I think thats the scariest thing ever being buried/cremated alive!
Being buried alive can't happen much anymore, at least in north america. They drain your fluids at the mortuary to preserve the body. So if you were alive when they started you won't be any longer.

that used to happen fairly frequently a couple hundreed years ago....if you go to really old cemetaries there are sometimes bells rigged to the caskets so that the living could ring them and be dug out! weird stuff!
