Well I've worked in a number of pet stores and would like to keep my career in an animal related field. Most likely either getting a "normal" job and doing some private breeding. Or actually going through with my business plan and openning a store of my own.
Right now I'm looking for a job.

I work in a pet food/supply warehouse. I am working on a dog grooming apprenticeship. I do rescue, all private rescues........they usually come about from talking to the customers at work though.
My other half is a Millwright apprentice.

Housekeeper..........why can't people learn that the trash can is LESS than 2 ft away. why can't guys AND some women learn how to pee IN the toilet, and jesus the way people lose hair you'd think everyone would be bald with the amount of hair I find in tubs and floors.....Plus is it really to much to ask to put the Do Not Disturb on the door instead of cursing me out when I knock at 8 in the morning (they are told *housekeeping knocks at 8), and leave when it's check out time.....lol
Not a cool job, really disgusting actually. I would rather work picking up dog poo. (crap pay to! LOL)

I am a university student and bouncer at the campus bar. I will be re-entering the "real world" in about a year and haven't a clue what I'll do. Last time I worked full-time it was in security. I hope to do something animal-related this time.
Cheers,

During the day I'm the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (translation: software tester) for an Internet technology company. By night, I run my own graphic and web design business. I plan to expand on this, especially the multimedia end, and get into silk screening, antique photo restoration (which I'm great at, but nobody wants to shell out the cash), digital artwork for bands, press kits for bands, etc. Hopefully between this and the herp / herp supply field, I'll be self-employed in the next couple of years.

I'm still an elementary student... heh! But I often get phonecalls or emails asking for a website or a graphic for their own business. Hopefully, I wont end up being a proffessional graphic designer/web designer in the future because it is really boring, imo but people say that I have a talent for designing graphics so I figured that I might as well make a few extra bucks ;)
In the future.. hmm... I'm not sure what I want to be. It would be fun to be like one of those annoying-as-hell home-maker/owner people who spend their life cooking and designing bedrooms since I absolutely love designing rooms and cooking. Heheh.. I considered being a singer since I love to sing and my dad can get me a contract faster than I can say "pumpkin" but I don't think that I would do a very good job at it ;)
mehh... who knows what I'll be! For all I know, I may end up having a really unexpected job like a taxidermist or I might own aa pretzel company... only time will tell :D

I develop training material for Verizon (telecom company). Pays the bills and buys my snakes. One of these days I'll get back into school and get a masters in biology...
In the past I used to coach riders and buy/sell/train/show horses professionally (showjumpers and hunters), as well as provided a multitude of related services. More recently I worked at Kris' Reptiles and Travelling Exotics Roadshow.
Right now I am looking for work and am halfway completed my Veterinary Assistant course, but have had to take a break on that due to health reasons. I will resume it in the future, and am currently looking in to becoming a carpenter. Fingers crossed the Mohawk provides part-time courses, as that is the closest place that offers it, but I can't commute 5 days a week for the program a friend of mine is in, it will drive me insane

I travel around Ontario teaching people about snakes (and other reptiles and amphibians as well, but mostly snakes). Yes, it is great, but it is also an awful lot of work for very little pay!
For the last year and a half, I've also been renovating with a plan to open a public educational facility. Renovating alone has been pretty much a full time job...

My previous jobs were anything from dishwasher, laborer, capenter, prep cook, pizza cook, etc. Currently I am a vet tech, but actually not fond of it. By far the best job I have had was working as a pizza cook. Was the best pay, hours, boss and all around job I have had.
I also make some great cash each year doing artwork that I do. I may be taking some silver jewelry lessons from my dad, who is the #1 Norse, Viking, Rus silver smith in the states.....:D. To many things I am good at that I do not like to do. Eventually my hard work will pay of....pffffft
