My boyfriend and my self decided to redo a few cages over the holiday season. First we did our 2 leopard gecko cages. We were very please with the way it turned out. Then we did our rose hair tarantula’s cage. We weren’t as pleased with that but at least it’s not as “busy” as it was before. Anyway hope you all enjoy.

Looks great. Love the leo cages. Do you have any "before" pictures?

Bichiraddict- i do have some before pics, but they are from over a year ago when their tank was set up with bed a beast. I'll give you an explanation of how it looked before the rocks were added though. Imagine that tank with all paper towels and boxes cut into homes, and that was what their tank looked like before the new transfermation was done.
I love your setup!
How did you go about doing the leo cage?
Did you buy the rocks from a petstore or did you get them form a beach??

LOL a petstore. Sorry had to laugh at that one. I was just thinking how much they would charge for rocks. LOL
I actually went to a masonry and picked up huge chunks of rocks for a little over 30 USD and a small bag of rocks 2-4 bucks (can't remember the price. Then my boyfriend dropped the chunks on the ground to break them into more managable pieces. Then we went to work on making the best of them. Oh there are a few regular bricks (like the bricks from brick houses, 54 cents a piece at home depot) under a few of the other rocks, just to build that section up. We did it so you couldn't see the bricks.
nice setups! how many leos do you figure i could keep in say a 33 gallon enclosure? im not currently keeping any lizards but i wouldnt mind getting a couple of those little guys.
Gorgeous decorating jobs! Especially love the first one!

Munchy- In a 33 gallon i would only put 3. An easy rule to remember is 10 gallons to each leo.
Thanks Linds and everyone else. The leos seem to be loving it hehe they all have even picked out thier own spots. They are WAY to spoiled!!!
thanx dre! so im guessing the prpoer ratio would be 1.2? might head up to the pet store today and scoop a couple up. they have some pretty kool morphs at the nearest pet store right now.

Muncy your right a 1.2 would be good. But i wouldn't buy from a store i would try to locate a breeder.
i dont know of any breeders around here. the one pet store i go to has a decent reptile section and they actually take pretty good care of the animals.
