I'm getting some Culibrids here pretty soon. Most of them are going to be babies. I'm wondering what to feed them and how often. I have pythons but when thier babies they can eat pinkies. any help would be great.
Thanx,
Charlie
appropriate sized mice should do, anywhere from pinks and up.
PLEASE buy a book on colubrids and do all the research you can WELL BEFORE you get them.

Depends on the snakes. Some colubrids (correct spelling) you will find out are lizard eaters by nature, and may need some coaxing to get started in eatting rodents. Being that 'colubrids' are the largest groups of snakes, more info is needed. For commonly kept colubrids; i.e. corns and ratsnakes, garters, some kings and milks along with others, some take well to a rodent meal. But again, asking about colubrids generally means we need more input, which in turns means you should research a bit more before you buy any to keep. Not only will you need proper diets, but all the husbandry needs for each species that your interested in.
So, read up and good luck.
