Just wondering if anyone else is working with these guys..?
I've got an unrelated neo pair. Most herpers stay clear of the lil nippers but i love em!

I'm thinking of getting a couple of pairs of these myself. Are they really that nippy?

We had 2.2 New Guinea and Australian form (adults) since sold to a friend, and they weren't bad at all!! Mulbu my male was nice enough to take to educational shows and show off. Still have pics of them. Awesome snakes. People are working with them. Just that they're pretty plain brown, but the irridescence is nice!!! And the yellow/orange bellies!!

Well, post some pics, Katt!

Couple questions though... were they always tame, or did they calm down as they got older? Who did you get them from?

I have an un-related pair. I have kept several over the past five years. One female that I've had for about 3-4 years now is completely "tame". I have had others that were some of the most defensive snakes I have come across. One 7' female comes to mind... she used to love jumping (mouth open) right out of the cage at me.

I love these snakes! not many people do though....

Well, my findings are that 99% of them stay nippy through to adulthood. But as Katt has mentioned i have also come across one or two that were handleable. Mine hit about 15 times a minute. they do tend to calm down after they are out of their enclosures for about ten minutes. I love these snakes as well, I find the iridescence more illuminating then Brb's! Anyhow, I met a breeder in southern On that is selling a breeding pair, Extremely phsycotic though.....wish i had the money LOL!
