nice pic...they look cozy. I wonder why people are against housing the same species together. I can see their point in a way, but those hogs seem to like each other. :)

Ya they did, I keep them, for now, in the same big enclosure(building new ones)

The boas do look cozy but here are a few reasons not to house multiple boas in one cage:

1.) If one boa gets sick chances are they will all get sick.
2.) If one boa regurges or has a strange looking stool how do you know which one it was from.
3.) Smaller animals will become stressed.
4.) Feeding is more difficult
5.) You can buy a plastic tub or build a cage easily and inexpensively

The only reason boas lay together is because they feel most comfortable with the security, temps and humidity in that particular spot. For example I keep all my cages exactly the same and the boas lay in the exact same spots. Like this...

They are housed together temporally until their new enclosures are built...as I posted earlier

My previous post was not directed to you. It was in response to the post from dj3674 and to let others know tht housing more than one boa in the same cage is not a good idea. I did notice before posting that you are in the process of building seperate cages. Good luck with your hogs.
