View Full Version : cage backing?
I have seen a number of great cage setups with a rocklike backing in them. I am assuming this is a fake sheet that can be put into a cage.
Does anyone know where to get these from as I have not seen them in the stores I visit?
Also, any other advice as to what to put along the back (inside) for a better setup.
Thanks in advance.
I've seen it at super pet...
Tony, there's a place on HWY 25 in Erin that sells the sheets of fake stone, im sure they would cut you a peice to fit what you're putting it in.. Just don't wask Shane for directions, him and HWY 25 don't get along.. If you wanna go there one day, just give me a shout man.

hey...any place in the US that sells sheets of it? i'd be most interested in buying it.
Any good aquarium store, Big Al's Aquarium Services for example.
Mykee, do they sell the molded stuff?? I think that's what he's looking for and not just the tape on peice of paper.. If they do sell the molded stuff, it might be pretty expensive there, wouldnt it???
This site offers good info on making your own. Hope the link works http://cichlidinspiration.net3services.com/
Just go to construction and click on backgrounds. I considered doing this a long time ago and decided that I am too lazy! LOL! If you have the time though, it would look awesome!
If you search the net, you can find people who do it custom. I am sure that it would cost an arm and a leg though. Most people who do it, do it for zoo displays and whatnot.
Matt: Ahh, the 'fake sheet' thing threw me off.
