The idle kick is definitely annoying... but, I think that the rules are probably a good thing. When you consider that this is a family site, and anything said in the chat reflects back on Ssnakess, a lot of stuff that was going on in there just wasn't appropriate. I think that setting up an "anything goes" chat as well seems like a good idea though :)

Well actually I was referring to the way it's set up... black background, weird way to join, blah blah blah, etc etc etc. I don't like it at all... change it back, please :p

There's reason's behind the idle kick, please, don't take it personally.. There definatly is a reason behind it. As for the way chat is set up, i thought it was always like that??? That's why anyone using chat should invest the time in downloading mIRC. It's a free download..

Matt, what if you can't download mIRC because your parents had some computer geek come over and set an administrator password on it... and everytime you try to download anything it won't let you because you have to ask your parents for the password. And when you ask, they say "no downloads!"

Hehe I do that for all my friends cause thier kids are always messin up thier computers. It cut the time i spen a moth fixing other peoples comps in half. Now If I could just lock out the parents too:D

heh Rev, whats a pain in the butt?? The new layout or the changes??? The rules have been reinstated due to time zones etc... It might be after 9pm in some places but it is still early evening, morning and dinner time in others and there is no way to regulate that.... So the rules will stay but I can switch the way the chat window was back to before if thats what you guys want! :)

How it worked with me was; The Chat link on the top. under the banner was the new screen, however, the chat link on the side under Navigation was the old chat.
