I was just wondering what everybody thinks is the prettiest T. I personally think that the Brachypelma Boehmei (Mexican Fire Leg) and the Cyclosternum fasciatus (Costa Rican Tiger Rump) are the prettiest :)

I agree, Xenesthis immanis are incredible!!!! I have a Brachypelma boehmei, but it is very little(1/2"). I am desperate for her/him to grow up. She/he is sooo tiny!

A minute ago, I saw pictures of Tarcan's freshly molted P. subfusca and now I have to add those to the list :D

Wow, there are so many gorgeous tarantula species.. why can't I have 'em all?! :D

In the common species, I have to agree that Cyclosternum fasciatum is on eof the prettiest... this is a species I am crazy about...

In the not common ones that I have, for me it is a tie between Cyriocosmus elegans and Hapalopus triseriatus... you can go on Rick West site if you are not familiar with how those look like...

I have a thing for dwarf species... they are so cute...

I only have one T and because of that took my time researching. I was looking for a T that had great looks and was noted as being relatively easy to keep.

I came up with a Brachypelma boehmi so I agree with you Emily!
If I were to get another it would be a Cobalt Blue.

Here she is again ...

I'm with Emily, I think the Mexican Fireleg is one of the most beautiful Ts I've ever seen, that, and the Cobalt Blue. :)

Psalmopoeus irminia is my all time favourite...soooooo beautiful!!!
Still working on getting one... But I think there is a lot of beauty in any tarantula for that matter. There are too many gorgeous ones to list them all!

I'm with Suntiger, I think male or female P. Irminia is probably my favorite. I just got my first T last week I'll post some pics later tonight its about a 2.5" Cyclosternum fasciatus.

I am bad at most questions involving superilatives, but I have a couple that people haven't mentioned yet. Heteroscodra maculata and Psalmopoeus cambridgei. Both are realtively common, though I don't own either. As pretty as a T may be, it just isn't a scorpion. :D

Cheers,
Dave

It's so hard to just choose one! I'd have to say the prettiest would be any one of my Tapinauchenius. But then again, Taps are my obsession. I have 8 of them, covering all the species of Taps available in the US.

This is my 3" female T. plumipes:

BTW, it's nice to see so many familiar faces here! I come here to learn about snakes and look what I find!
