Thanks to everyone who gave me such wonderful advice. I took Exodus to the vet and it is a RI. I have to administer an injection of fortav every three days for a month. I got a 111 quart rubbermaid and put holes in the side for ventilation. The rm definately holds humidity better than the tank did. He still has a slight clicking sound in his throat. Yet he is more active. Although still not eating. I'm a bit nervous about giving him the shot not for myself but for him. I have never administered a shot to a snake before. The vet showed me exactly how and where to do it and I have someone to help me, still nervous though.

Hmm, that sounds a bit odd.....most of the time Baytril is administered for RIs and it only takes one shot I believe......but I'm glad that he is doing well and if you need anything else, just ask!

I am not familiar with fortav, so it may work just as well......just go by what they say, because I am not a vet, lol. Good luck!

I did it. The shot didn't go as well as I'd hoped. I did it like the vet said but I don't think all of the med went in. He was hard to keep still. When the vet did it she had the assistant and myself hold the snake while she administered the shot. This time it was just 2 of us. I'm definately taking him back for the rest of the shots. I have a fear of shots so it's probably best that I let the vet do it. I'm all inked up but try to give me a shot and I freak.

Yeah, if you are uncomfortable doing it, you should let someone experienced do it for you. You don't want to accidentally injure the snake or poke something you're not supposed to, lol. I'd ask them about the baytril as well.
