new burm cage

I was wondering if anyone could give some ideas to how long, wide a tank should be for a 6 foot burm? I am hoping to build one myself and could use any help anyone has. Also if I should use plain non-treated wood or melamine?:confused:

if your are going to build a cage for a 6 foot burm you might as well just buld one that will last the snakes whole life. if it is a female burm i would keep it in a 7-8 long by 3-4 deep enclosure if is a male you can probly get away with a bit smaller enclosure like 6-7 by 3. i would not recomed getting any smaller than that.
