K now that I have learnt that you cant house 2 females in one cage I need some ideas on how to build 2 cages in one unit. Keep in mind that I have to put heat in these units so please people, put your pics up of your cages. Thanks

why do you have to build 2 cages into 1 unit? is it a space thing or?

Why dont you just build 2 cages that you can stack on top of each other? like this

Cool, well thats the kind of thing I was looking for. And yes it is a space thing. How would I heat something like that?? Keep the pics coming.

Your best bet and the best solution would be to heat each unit individually with heat pads on the floor. Either heat tape, "human" heat pads, etc. These can be run through a rheostat and even a thermostat if you wanted, makes heating even more simple.

Building two seperate cages is probably your best bet. I once built a cage that had two sperate units and it is a b!tch to move (4 x 4 x 2; 2 units @ 4 x 2 x 2 each), especially while using melamine. That stuff gets really heavy when all put together. Next cages I build will be 4 x 2 x 1 melamine to save on
