I've been reading assorted caresheets trying to learn as much as I can bout these guys.

Caresheets I've come across recommend feeding a pinkie ever 4-5 days, to once a wk, or 10 days.

So which is it? LOL.
How often should I be feeding a 3month old corn?

Thanks.

Honestly, its up to you. Its not conflicting info, just a broad range.

I would think every ten days is a little to infrequently for hatchlings if you want some growth, but it certainly won't starve them, but as they mature once every ten-14 days is enough.

I feed all my hatchlings once per 4-7 days. You won't hurt them to feed them once a week, nor will you hurt them if you decide to feed them twice per week. Its really up to you.

I have some baby corns that are getting one FUZZY every 5 days. You should see how much they've grown, and how healthy they are in general. When they were 3 months old, I believe I was giving them 2 pinkies until they put on a bit of girth. They've been on fuzzies for the last 2 months or so.

That's about right. You'll hear anything form 1 food item every 3 to one every 10 days. The more frequently you feed, the more you need to watch the size of the food item though. You can feed larger meals every 7+/- days or smaller meals every 4+/- days. Depends how often you want to feed and how fast you want your corn to grow. Corns are pretty flexible when it comes to most husbandry aspects. That's one of the many great things about them... :)

I feed my youngsters every 4 or 5 days. I also started feeding my adults that will be brumated this year every 4 or 5 days back in October. All the others get fed every 7 to 10 days depending on my schedule and theirs.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. Corns in the wild will eat when they find prey. Could be quit often, or could be a weeks or more.

Generally, my corns will start cruising their cage when they're hungry. I like to let them go a day or two after that so they get some exercise.

while were on the topic my corn is 2 years old. shes healthy but it wouldn;t hurt if she put on a little extra girth and wieght she currently eats one adult mouse every 8-10 days. what would be bigger than an adult mouse bescause i think shes ready for maybe something a little bigger but not two mice i'm not sure how do you guys tell when to switch i always get nervous when i switch her up because i don;t want her to choke or get sick.

As for your question ya i agree with everyone else its totally up to you but you know should go like every day or every 2 weeks becazuse that wouldn;t be very healthy for a young corn good luck:)
thx:D

I don't think snakes can choke on something their eating........but I could be wrong.........the way I tell is when what I'm feeding DON'T leave a lump.
