Im moving my snakes to a dif room in my house that is warmer and was wondering what i should sat my heat pads on.

I was going to set them on the carpet floor and put the rubbermaids on them but some say thats a fire hazard. Should i put something under the heat pads and if so what should it be?

You could use some bricks or another type of material that cannot catch fire. I guess it all depends on what you have at your disposal. or another idea is milk crates with a good piece of board on top of them, then as long as your temps are controlled and monitored you should be fine.

What about a big metal cookie sheet?

This way the cookie sheet would get hot and give off more heat to help my gradient temps stay more stable...

Ill stay something under the cookie sheet to make it set off the carpet :D

sound good?

Just place a piece of wood under as a barrier against the carpet ;)

Milk crates sound like a good idea....

But if you're looking for a connection to get some wood, I know a guy who knows a guy at Home Depot... I could get ya hooked up! But you can't tell anybody... ;) Just kidding around :D....
