I know this has been done with snakes and what not, but I just wanted to get a clue of what species of chelonians all of you are working with.
I have one female Mississippi Mud. And I am getting a snapper soon.

I just have one c.b. ornate box turtle, named Tina the Turtle.
I only have one little redfoot, and that is probably the only one I will have for at least 10 years. I fell in love with some hatchling boxies at the show, but I just do not have the space to dedicate to anymore chelonians, and most other reptiles :(

Since you offered, get me a pic of the Japanese and western ponds. The Japanese pond is a Mauremys Japonica? I haven't seen one of those in a while.

Hello all, I generally don't list the exact contents of my collection for security reasons, but I'll give you a little taste of what kind of Turtles and Tortoises I'm personally involved with on a regular and ongoing basis; Leopard Tortoises, Red Foot Tortoises, Sulcata Tortoises, Russian Tortoises, Speke's Hingeback Tortoises, Marginated Tortoises, Hermann's Tortoises, Indian Star Tortoises, Sri Lankan Star Tortoises, Eastern Box Turtles, Western Ornate Box Turtles, and Desert Ornate Box Turtles.
I used to also keep; Map Turtles, False Map Turtles, Western Painted Turtles, Red Ear Sliders, Florida Softshell Turtles, Common Snapping Turtles, Alligator Snapping Turtles, and various Hybrid Turtles.
I'm always looking for that next gem to add to my breeding program, and I'm currently working on getting some unrelated bloodlines of Fly River Cooters. If anyone knows of someone who is selling Fly River Cooters, please have them contact me.
Take care, Johnny.
OMG John, I can't wait til next year! As always, jealous of your collection! Talk to ya later.

Hello all, I will post a few individual pictures of some of my Box Turtles and Tortoises for everyone to ogle. My enclosures are not very glamorous at all, since I prefer function over flash. And I am currently in the process of building some Tortoise tables for the smaller species. Once I get everthing finished I will post some pictures of the entire setup.
Take care, Johnny.

Hey johnny, post some pics anyway. I envision a room packed with enclosures for that many herps. I'd like to see a pic even if it's not finished. Sounds interesting.

It's actually nowhere near that cramped. Although every time I buy more species it does take a while to rearrange everyone to make the new ones fit in!!! :) Almost all of the species in my collection are under 6 inches long, so they don't require massive indoor enclosures. The only pictures that I have right now are of single animals, and some group shots. I'll try to get some pictures of the enclosures as I finish them.

Anywhere... US has the most choices for turtle and tortoises. Most often private breeders will advetise on the web. I would not buy from a store, b/c the quality is not as good and often more expensive. I'll send you a PM with some links for the US.
Cheers,
JJ;)
