camera suggestion

i'm thinking of getting a digital camera..

ne suggestions? its kinda oxymoronic but i want a good cheap one.. like can take pics in motion, macro, micro, all that cool stuff..

It's difficult to get a "a good cheap one" You almost always get what you pay for when it comes to digital cameras. The best ones are pricey, and normally anything under 3-400 bucks is kinda crappy photo wise, although I am sure there are a couple o.k. ones out there for that. I got the Canon Powershot A40 for like 400-500 bucks and its totally awesome. Macro, videos with sound, etc. It's probably pretty cheap now and its a great buy for the money.

I would just plan on spending between 300 and up because any lower will just be a waste in most cases. Especially for any close ups.

good glass is pricey. and it doesn't matter how many megapixals you get if you have crappy glass. personally i like the sony cd mavica series, it has good glass, decent megapixals (in the 350 and 400).
