i jus got a hatchling...i jus wanna know how slow the growth rate is...i know they grow slow but i wanna know how big in lik 2 years?.

I'd say Matts right. I had a 4 year old snapper I cared for a while back and he was only about 8 or 9 " CL.
BE PREPARED. I don't know if you've ever had an Al snapper before but they get big. And a full grown one could inflict an awfullly painful bite. Hope you know what your getting into.

ive got a hundred gallon om not using rite now so im safe for awhile...but by the time hes huge ill be movin out

100 gallon should do fine for a while. Wish I had an extra 100 gallon tank just layin around. lol 'me smiles in jealousy'

Yeah..They don't really need too much room which is kind of nice..I have a 13" male in a 65 gallon and he seems fine..He barely moves around at all..Makes one hell of a mess though:).

I have 2 of them as well and they are by far may favorite type of turtle. they are about 4 or 5 inches and I have had them about a year and a half

i love the little guys....my little guy is so small but hes taken guppies and crickets...hes an eating machine!!!!!!!! i wish they got bigger more quickly
