how do stars under our names change?

Might be a stupid question but i'm going to ask anyway. How do you go from a neonate to a juvenile to a boid, etc. Is it just how long you have been a member of ssnakess? YOU must advertise to be a site supporter? jim m

It depends on how many posts you have

juvenile is 50, then the next one is 100, then 250, then either 400 450 or 500 not sure...then prolly 1000 or 1500. i got my 3rd at 250. should get another one soon, also if you donate to the site you get a star. people who donate like 100bucks get a site supporter i think

Each level that you go up means more posts to get the next level as well. Once you've cleared your yellow stars, you go to the blue stars. The level that I'm at, for example, I need 1000 posts to get to the next level. You only need I believe 100 to go up a star.

This thread is older and the star system has been removed since.

Stars were just gif files showing how many post you have made, basically pointless yet some people would try and "up their stars" so they removed the system.
