Oh she's just a wee thing! And terribly grumpy in that first shot!

To answer your bug question; she can eat any insect the width of her head. If her head is a 1/4", feed her 1/4" crickets or smaller. I prefer to use slightly larger prey items for my little guys as it seems to fill them up quicker than with using tiny fruit flies and pinhead crickets etc. Also chameleons are the only lizard that chews their food before swallowing, so they can take down slightly larger prey items without the risk of choking.

Remember too, variety is the spice of life, look for various small insects for her as they do better on a varied diet. Small silkworms are an excellent choice. Stay away from mealies and other hard shelled worms until she is a little older.

Have fun with Jade. (I like the name)

Hey M-M03!

Depends on the species of chameleon of course. The more popular ones around here are Panthers (F. pardalis) and Veileds (Ch. calyptratus). Panthers are usually $150-200 and the Veileds are $25-75. This is all in Canadian dollars.

Cheers!

Thats the prices here in Saskatoon too. About 200 for ambanja panthers, 200-250 for Nosey Be's and 50 to 100 for veileds.

hey trace is darker better or lighter???

In reference to what specifically?

and are all connies, panthers $150???

You'de have to ask her obviously, but she did have varying prices on her chameleons this past weekend. I'm assuming it's because of the locale. That $400.00 one is a locale you don't see that often thus the price will be higher.

Cheers!

Lets just say a nosy be. What if ones very light(naturally) and one a darker colour and its not angry, just being its normal colours, like collides art with the different shades of blue, would the lighter one be more valuble then the darker one???

Ahhh! Good question actually. One I don't think I can answer. I don't think there should be a price difference because of shading.

If you give me the choice between the two, I'd pick the darker one because I like bolder colours. But that's just personal preference.

ooo so it really doesnt matter what colour it is, it only matters if how the person looks it??? cause i heard storys that draker tends to be better, and stuff, lol it seems i have stumped you:p Hmmm but in there end there all sexy:p i like them dark and light
