A easy method is to hot glue some suction cups to the vine and stick it to the side of the tank you choose. That way it can be removed when cleaning. To make it look easier on the eye, you could incorperate it with some fake vines/plants and that could cover the suction cups and give it even more of a natural look. You could even hot glue it to some rocks or slab that would act as a weight to hold it down one side. Trick is when it comes time to clean the accesories themselves, sometimes you may need to re-glue pieces together as they are worn out from use. Just be creative and use a little scence when putting things into a tank, lookout for things that may tople over or create problems. Otherwise, this is how manufactured pieces are in petshops and you'll basically be creating your own work, very fun!
If you do use hot glue, check with the manufacturer to make sure it doesn't contain volatile organic compounds or rubber stabilizers. Both have toxic outgases.
Silicon sealant might be a safer choice.

I screw all branches in through the wall. Snake cant come close to moving it.
