hello there everyone....
i have two red foots (about six months old)... one of them has some sort of diarreah and i don't know what causes and how to deal with it... he does not look sad or anything... just his poo is like more liquid than his roommate's...

they both eat the same things...(i hope)

i don't know what's wrong or if it's something to panic about....

please help me...

What are you feeding them, what kind of substrate are you using, what humidity are you keeping them at, what is their basking temperature, what is their background temperature, and what is their night time temperature? If you let me know the details, I would be more than happy to help you out. By the way, I keep, breed, raise and study all kinds of Turtles and Tortoises.

Take a fecal sample to your vet to have it checked for parasites. That's the most common reason for diarrhea.

yup...eyespy is right, especially if the fecal matter is greenish and stinky.

As well as taking a sample to your vet, check the diet. Too much fruit and not enough coarse roughage is a common cause.

Are tortoise turds ever NOT greenish?
