Get a smart cat that knows how to open latches that will set all of your superworms loose in the house...lol! You will have beetles popping up left, right and center :p
I've tried several times to breed them, and this time around looks a lot more promising! I actually found some little ones! I find giving them some places for the beetles to hide works well. The worms need privacy or they will not pupate. Film containers work, but make sure they cannot reach the top of the container where you place the little vent holes because they will chew right out. When they were pupating in my home, I would fine them in mostly in socks and crumpled plastic bags. So I just put some old socks and plastic bags in with the substrate...figured they like them that much it will be my little experiment. Low and behold I finally have babies :D I've heard of people just tossing in a big old piece of rotting wood and that working very well. Serving as a breeding ground and place for them to pupate. I haven't tried that though. Not as easy as mealies, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it :) Good luck with yours
Thanx Linds, you are always super helpful!
