Of course UFC is great to watch. Nobody watches wrestling for the fighting quality... it's the entertainment quality. It's a soap opera for the testosterone-charged. :) However, you cannot argue that the athleticism in WWE is just as good as any real fight. Wrestlers are incredible athletes.

Closest thing I can think of that it's like would be Circus de' Seoli (ack, spelling) You don't pull that stuff off without serious practice and dedication without killing anyone.

I like UFC and all that as well but you can't compare the two, they're totally different.

lol...apparently you dont have any idea what ''skill'' means. who cares if they train to be a wrestler, all it is is big muscles and learn how to do a few moves. any ufc fighter could beat the crap out of any WWE (with the exception of like 2) and that's what skill really is. mixed partial arts pros all train atleast 5 hours a day, each hour is something different. they could also beat any WWE in a pure grappling/wrestling match.

Two things: 1. Goldberg is lagit. He was training as a shoot fighter when WCW picked him up. 2. Professional wrestling training was the hardest thing I ever did, including college football. It was hard, and only the strong can make it thru.

I returned to the ring last Saturday in Chatsworth, GA. I lost my match by DQ when I put DL Adams in an Indian death lock around the ring post and refused to break it.
Last I heard he would be on the shelf for 8 months. =) Later that night, I decided to interfere in another match, I gave Johnny Slatter a spike pill driver, and I am not sure he will ever wrestle again.

Sunrunner, if you asked me real nice, I would train him for free. Ha ha. But that would require moving down south. =) Do an internet search for Indy wrestling Canada and find the closest show to your house. Go there and ask to speak to the booker. In most cases Indy shows have a training program. Tell him to be sure he really wants this! Its very hard, lots of blood, sweat, and tears.

Yes, that was him. =) we worked together in 2001. I have met most of the wrestlers that you see on TV at one time or another. Earthquake, John Tenta works for me now. I see Abdullah the Butcher quite a bit. Kane lives about an hour north of me. He is close friends with my cousin, who is an Indy worker like me.

I think Damien was a Burmese python. I never saw him pull out a King cobra, that would have been a sight to see.

Yeah, I was serious about the cobra. He worked as Jake the Snake Roberts all thru the Indies, but when Vince gave him his break in the WWF he added the python for effect. Actually they killed plenty of them out on the road, so Damien was a Brum, Rock, Retic, or even BCI depending on what they could pick up quickly. After the python gimmick got old, they juiced it up with venomoid cobras. They started with Monocles, then moved to 12 – 14 foot Kings. In the 1991 Survivor series, he opened its mouth and let it chew on Randy Savage. Savage told me he was scared to death of it. Jake had to let it bite him back stage before Randy would go thru with it. =)

Anyone ever saw this part where triple h went backstage on cam n took a rattler out of its enclosure n placed it in a baggy looking for austin so he could get some revenge or something but in the end austin let a rattler loose in this room n threw triple h in there? It was like 4 years ago so i cant really remember, but if n e one saw it, do you think that the rattler was venomous?

Absolutely not. When Vince started using cobras with Jake, he brought in a professional herpetologist to work them. He didn’t want to replace too many of those $2500 void kings. My point in that is, WWE has knowledge of venomous snakes and they know what is safe and what isn’t. Most likely they called the same guy that worked the kings for them in the early 90’s and had him bring over a void WDB. For the record, I did not see this one. Sorry I missed it.

Earthquake, John Tenta, came in town to visit me this weekend. For those of you who haven’t been watching that long, he headlined the 1990 Wrestlemania against Hulk Hogan. For you guys who just started watching during the “wwf attitude” error, he was also Golga (wore a gold mask) of the oddities.

We did a short autograph cession at the pro wrestling super shop. Even I look normal size when standing beside a 6’10, 500 pound monster. =)

After that, I took him to my snake building. I wanted to get a shot with him holding one of my bigger rattlesnakes, but this bull was as far as he would go.

I am an Indy wrestler. The WWE guys also do Indy shows and I am in the back when the WWE comes near me. Yes, I have met Goldburg, he only lives about hour and half from me. He is a good guy. Meet both Steiners. Rick is cool, Scott is the biggest prick you could ever imagine. Never met triple H or Brock. Brock broke in over in OH vly wrestling. I have wrestled over that way, but always missed him.

lol he is not dead... its definatly road dogg... i never heard the he is dead rumor though... i watch tna occasionally by the way..... i like the x division alot. the only reason i dont watch it more is casue alot of my friends wont watch it cause they dont know who is who and stuff so they find it boring... real ignorant eh. oh well. i think its a great place that ex wwe employes can go... if superstars keep going there the rate they are going then i think it will be able to slowly pick up... hopfully rvd jumps ship!

I think that it is a great league alot of great talent just not as flashy as WWE, a little more cash and they will be as good as them though. I just rented a game for playstation 2 called crush hour it is WWE wrestlers in a car derby it is very good :) 2 thumbs up!!For anyone one who wants to try it and likes the wrestling scene. :)
