That's too bad, I'm definitely sorry too. But at least you probably did more for her than her previous home(s). People who take in rescues are never given enough credit.
so to hear of your loss Kim! :(

oh i am so sorry to hear about your loss
looks like i may be going thru that as well, i rescued a boa who is not doing very well, and it looks like the only option i have left is to humanely have her put down, so i have an idea of what your going thru, not that it makes it easier.

Sorry for your loss, Kim. It is difficult losing one of your favorites.
It is hard working with rescues, we found our poor savanna dead this week, he came to us as a rescue, and it is amazing he lasted as long as he did. (3 years) He was an adult when we got him, and probably had massive vital organ problems - he would do well for a while, then waste away, then do well again, and waste away. He was dewormed often, as parasites were also suspect, but for an animal in as poor condition as he was, he was a fighter.
Keep up the good work despite the setbacks, the reward is worth it in the end.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know how it feels to lose a loved one, especially a snake. My blood python past away last week and I have felt horrible, totally depressed and everything. Again, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss :(

Hey Sunrunner, sorry to hear about your loss.
But I like to think of it this way, at the end she was not only cared for properly, but loved. It takes a big heart and a lot of determination, never mind money to work with rescues at all. From all the posts of yours i've read I think you are a fantastic example of a herper and an educator and I for one am proud to know you. Thank you.

WOW...you are one attractive women
So sorry to hear of her passing :( At least she will remain in the hearts of all those she touched in her shows! :D
My heartfelt condolences. I've only lost one snake so far - a baby rosy boa who was just determined to starve herself.
I was heartbroken, and I still feel sad, even though that was last march.
Cloe was beautiful, at least you have nice photos and good memories, so she lives on.
Peace,
Briggy
