Just kidding....... But I have gotten into something I never thought I would get into........ LEOPARD GECKOS!!!!!!!!!!! Its funny how you always go back to the basics....... I am starting to put together a huge breeding colony......... Here is what I have so far.......
2.2 striped
1.2 super hypo tang carrot tails
1.2 patternless
1.1 patternless albinos
1.2 blizzards
1.2 banana blizzards
1.1 het for blazing blizzards
All will be breedable by spring........ I figured I would do something while I wait for the gabbons to pop...... They are pretty cool geckos....... And atleast I have something I can pick up with bare hands now.....LOL

Hahaha congrats Gregg! Sounds like you got yourself quite the little collection there. Let's see some pics :D

They are awesome. Leopard geckos were one of my first herps but then I got out of them for a couple years. Just recently got a new one as I missed having them around.
Sometimes the most simple herps end up being the ones you enjoy most. Good luck with your colony!

Gregg now you need some wild caught miami phase Iguana's. Not only are they wonderful pets for man and beast alike " beast = my golden retriever" but they have many other uses for the culernary delights J/K. If you find yourself wanting some let me know. Also Cuban Night anoles are available at the reduced price pending on how often they bite me , Remember proven biters cost more lol..
Congrats on the Leopard geckos interseting little animals.
lol, gregg, my mouth dropped when i saw your title.....good luck with the leos. :)
weirdest thing....i've been planning for a couple of months now to get some leopards at an upcoming reptile show in atlanta. i originally planned to invest into some corns for breeding, but that idea was shot down pretty quick when i found out there won't be any there due to state laws. hope they don't have anything against leos.

Nope Mike, Leos are fine. Georgia you cannot have native nonvenomous species. The Atlanta show is not bad. I may drop by. Not planning on getting anything. Just had 4 snakes come in yesterday. But I may go to hang out with people. After all, it is only about 30 minutes from me :D
Gegg, Gregg, Gregg. You're breeding feeders now? :D

Why yes Gregg we do have those Varanus Floridianus. Currently I think they are actually working on how one might properly catch and eat a Snowbird and still have it be sporting. Hell man if it can live in subtropical we probably will have it soon enough.
bwsmith, thanks for the input. glad to here that the atlanta show isn't bad. i'm driving about 3hrs to it. my first and only show so far was columbia, sc. to me, it was amazing! i was overwhelmed with the amount of snakes available. i've been craving another show ever since. to bad atlanta won't have venomous. oh well, still excited.

It is nothing compared to Columbia, but much better than the Dixie Show.

Leo's are great. I just got a pair for my classroom, the kids love them.
Have fun with them,

WAY OFF for the venomous forum but got this beauty last night and just had to share it and this post seems to be a good place for the hot heads to show our non-venoumous.
