10 Ways to Piss off a Pagan
10. Ask them if they are Satan worshippers.
9. Be considerate. Rearrange their altar so it will look neat.
8. Blow out their altar candle if it is still light outside. (No use in
wasting a perfectly good candle!)
7. Pick up their stones and gems for a closer look.
6. Sharpen their black-handled knife(durn thing is totally dull).
5. Witness to them about the "true religion".
4. Untie the knots in their cord.
3. Pick up their jewelry for a closer look.
2. Play card games with their Tarot cards.
1. Ask them again if they are Satan worshippers.

....What's the point of this thread? Is there not a huge controversy going on right now about religious posts? So why would you make the mods have to deal with this, too? Mabye I missed something....

As a highly trained, legally ordained, legally recognized Pagan minister here in New Mexico I have absolutely no problem posting a funny that makes fun of my tradition or the occasional interaction between my tradition and others. After all this is the joke/funny forum so get a sense of humor. The only persons that could feel uncomfortable due to the reference are spiritually above the negative emotion. Too many blonde, political, ethnic, and other religious funnies here to honor your opinion Tammy, delete mine along with all the rest if you like, but get some humor in your life and quit whining, you'll be happier.

thanks, I feel redeemed. My mom only stopped over seriousness when she figured I was a nicer person(years ago). There is some real life reflection and for that I am sorry but anything that makes a person act in kindness and love has my support, cruelty for dogma's support is evil from any angle. I figure I laugh with the occasional inconsistancies in my own beliefs more than anyone else's and happiness/love are the path to enlightenment despite particular choice of route/belief.

I see your point. I had just finished skimming through that whole religious thread, and then to see another 'religion bashing' thread, saying that you couldn't help yourself, I figured you were just trying to add fuel to the fire. Now that I reread my post here I feel it was made in poor judgement. I also didn't realise you were a Pagan minister yourself. No hard feelings, then.
And yes, I do actually have a sense of humour, I just didn't realise the actual point of your post at first. ;)

I can't even count the number of people who have wanted to sharpen my athame or play with the things on my alter.
I loved the post reverenedsterlin, gave me a good giggle!
I wish I knew more about Pagan's so I could get the joke!
