I had her out to clean the cage so i thought id take a few quik pics of her.

She is a little over 6 1/2 feet and still growing like a weed.

HEHEHE yeah i know what you mean, it took mine over 2 1/2 years to get this big. But she is a handfull when i have her out. She coils around my arm pretty tight sometimes and its a pain trying to get her back in her enclosure, but its all good because she is as tame as my ball pythons. :)

You've got her right where you want her according to Jeff Ronne. In one of his videos he says that a 6' female boa may be the perfect breeding machine. Of course you may have no intentions of breeding her and just want to see her get big and healthy. Either way she's very nice.

Well i've already had a male in with her for a couple weeks and he was all over her, the bad thing is she wanted no part in it and tried to escape from him all the time. i dont know if she is just playing hard to get or maybe she is just not ready yet.

ill seperate them for a wek or 2 again and try it again but if not i'll wait till next year.

Sometimes the male can court for several weeks before she lets him mate with her. I think the Jeff Roanne article/video says someting like 12 weeks or something like that.
Maybe just leave him in there.
