Is anyone else having money problems lately? I'm interested in knowing if there's some anomoly in the fabric of nature (does that make sense?). I got my phone bill with $300 worth of long-distance calls that I didn't make. A bank machine jipped me $20, my coat fell apart so I had to spend $35 on a new one, and my support payments are $14 lower than where they're supposed to be. Fortunately I don't have any pets anymore so I'm the only one that has to starve, but it sucks anyway.

Actually yes, I accidentally dinged my car and my friends, costing me in total 120$ so that we won't have to involve insurance. Phone bill was through the roof. House bills are adding up so much that we're taking out some of my education money. We have no food in the house. But luckily I always keep a spare 5 mice in the freezer, so my snakes won't starve. lol

holy smoke . coke addic...... or jus kidding
You must have one hell of a job to pay off that much debt.
I clear 2.5 to 3.5k a month when i work my a$$ of with 70 h + a week
oilfield work/plumbing/electric fencing/hot shots and still barely have enough money to buy my beer every week
Wow, I live in Toronto and my monthly bills don't even come CLOSE to $4000 a month. Two cars, insurance, rent, food, pets, entertainment and so on runs me about half that.

Some of that money to the Govt goes to good things though like Health Care but it always pisses me off to see politicians get a pay increase.
My $$$ goes to paying off this years tution.

i dont know about complaining about taxes ask ANY american that has to pay for health care and then see how good we have it
and the govt. isnt included in monthly bills unless you owe them which no one should in my mind unless your a big bizzz company
my friend when she was 18 had to pay $800 come tax time coz she worked 2 jobs now that is just wrong

well i know it is good for when it does go to health care and other things like that, but when i pay that much in taxes and then get laid off for work for a couple months, which with my job happens every year, and then try to get some money back from employment insurance and they tell you sorry they cant help you or give you the runaround, now that makes me mad.

Forgive him, he's from Alberta. LOL! Just kidding man, had to take a shot at Klein country though haha. I hear you about EI though, I've paid thousands in and have never been able to squeeze a dime back out when I've needed it. They drown you in paper work, cards and automated phone systems. I don't mind paying tax but EI is just a total burn it seems.

Some jobs are ineligible for EI, no matter how much you pay, such as teaching. My dad was a teacher for over 30 years and paid EI for everyone of them. Had he gotten laid off he would not have been able to collect a penny from EI. I think unless your job qualifies you you shouldn't have to pay.

I agree with Lisa about paying EI. I am unable to collect it if I was layed off.
My money goes to my morgage payment, 2 cars 1 truck my dog eats close to $50 a month, 2 cats, 1 cockatiel, 1 girlfriend and a few snakes. Gas for the boat the list goes on.. If you are not in debt then you are not living.
I have a friend that is single, 38 and bugets himself $50 a month for spending on gas, booze, snokes, what ever he want. After his rent is payed. He banks/ invests everything. I alway tell him he can not take it with him so he might as well spend it. You can die today and you have never lived, or enjoyed life. Then somone else will live, enjoy life off your hard work.
