second time my eggs were eatin

well this is the second time ive posted about my day geckos. i was cleaning the cage yestarday and found the mark of where eggs had been once again. is there anyway to stop them from eating their eggs?

im guessing you can only find them quicker then they do :) or try to keep them extra fed when you know they might lay an egg?
Dont know anything about day gex but jsut a guess...

Thinking back to my Day Geckos breeding days, I have never had them eat a fertile egg. Infertile eggs will be readily consumed to reclaim some of the energy spent in producing them.

Are you positive you have a male?

Just a thought anyway.....

well yes, im possitive theres a male. they probly did consume them because they were infertile. this is only the second time they have laid eggs, so maybe they havent got the hang of it yet? not sure

Giving them enough food is properly the right way to go. Good luck in breeding them, keep us posted. :D
