weird, with my screen aquarium lid i cover it with a damp towel and only get 60% on the covered side

humidity is not as big a deal with carpets as people make it seem, I do not do anything special for humidity in my JCP tank. Have a barred lid and she shed 100% everytime and eats like a champ :)

lots of house have humidfiers and some places have naturally high humidity. Solid snake is just lucky. It is kind of odd that you have so much trouble in some place like Victoria I would assume the humidity is high there.

my humidity with only a screen stays around 60-70% if i spray it every so often...i covered the underside of half the screen (the side without the lid obviously) with plastic wrap...keeps the humidity in nicely until i get a better lid.

the humidity in victoria is actually quite low. in the past few days its been so dry if you go outside without chapstick your lips shred

its silicon. stick it on the bottom, then past it where u want it, then tape it to the glass so it can dry, take the tape off when its done and tada!
if u wanna do that, make sure u put enough on and let it dry.
