I got my Ball switched from mice to rats. On October 18th she took 2 rat pups then she took 2 more on the 23rd. However she has not pooped yet. Is that normal, or is she constapated?
She also is always in her warm hide.
If something is wrong how do I get her to poop?
Thanks:confused:
She knows how to poop. Its fine. She is probably on the warm side to aide in digestion. I wouldnt worry.

Should I feed her again, or wait until she poops first?
Feed it according to the regimen you have it on, not if it poops or not. If a snake is constipated it simply won't eat.

Found the poop/warm water thing out by accident once while soaking her just before a shed :)
It's really dry where I live, Edmonton, Alberta. So Humidity is always a problem.

She will poo when she needs to poo, just leave her be; that is perfectly normal. If it prolongs for a long period of time, then it may be something to be concerned with. Continue to feed. You might want to make sure your temps on the hot side are adequate though.
I've had one of my bp's eat 16 rat pups before going. He was fine, and your's will be too. Don't stress the little stuff.

Thanks everyone. She has now eaten 4 rat pups and 3 small rat adults. She has not pooped but has peeded several times. Maybe she is just using all the nutrients to grow.

She'll be fine. This is all normal. Personally I only get concered if like two months go by.

Mine only poop about once a month, and are fed weaned rats every 5 days, so on an average month they'll eat 7 rats of about 40 grams each before they poop :p I wouldn't worry about it. They also normally poop when they shed (which has been monthly as well).
