I've never heard of an ATB being refered as an Indonesian tree boa. That doesn't mean it isn't, though. Here are some other common names for ATBs: common tree boa, deer snake, garden tree boa, neotropical tree boa. - Taken from corallus.com

We own 2 atb's. We have had them for about a year now and they are a very interesting snake. I have heard they can be very nippy but in our experience with them, Nasty(our female) and Pissy(our male) they are no problem to handle. We find they are pretty easy to care of. The room they are in is about 80-82 during the day and at night it goes down to about 73. We have no other heat on them. Feed once every 1wk to 10 days. They are in a rubbermaid because it keeps the humidity fairly well. Spray them down about twice a day. Hope this helps ur friend.
Here is a pic of Pissy.

Moved to the Corallus forum and no, there is no such thing as Indonesian boas! LOL!! Pythons = old world, boas = new world (for the most part).

Snakes given the pet shop label "Indonesian Tree Boa" are almost always Candoia Carinata Carinata, one of the Pacific boas.
You can find some keeping/breeding info, as well as sub-species info and photo pages at http://www.**************/candoia/
I just browsed those pages and found this "The genus Candoia comprises a group of small boa species found only in the south pacific islands. These islands include but are not limited to New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Fiji Islands & several Indonesian islands."
Indonesia is a rarity in that it has both boas & pythons...cool!
