cleaning cork bark

Any trick to cleaning snake poop off of cork bark? Can you disinfect something that porous?

I'v only ever soaked it in hot water to clean. I never has a snake poop on it.

You could try a tooth brush and hot water. Them soak it for awhile to kill germs.
