Crazy/ Stupid question

Well I am just sitting here drinking a glass of milk and a goofy question pops in my head.... can reptiles drink milk? It has plenty of calcium and vitamins but can they digest it? I know cats can drink milk but its not so good for their digestive system unless its a kitten...

any ideas?:confused:

Nope, they lack the enzymes needed to break down the sugars and they don't thoroughly break down whey either.

Pinkies have enzymes in their saliva that break down milk sugars and acids plus enzymes in their stomachs, so as long as you give that stuff an hour to work, there's no problem. They do the work for the reptile.
