Hello all. I am posting this in several forums to make sure most of you see it.

I am currently gathering material to put together a website that will eventually be a Field Guide covering the entire United States. Every species along with its subspecies will have a distribution map and a semi-detailed description of the habits and habitat of the snake. I am having to make each distribution map myself. All of this, as you can imagine, is a huge undertaking. To put in mildly, HELP!!!

Unfortunately, I dont have every species of snake around my house to photograph for the site. If anybody has any nice clear pictures of any kind of snake, I could definitely use it. What would be nice is a picture around 400 pixels wide, 300 high. No more than 50K in size. Also, it needs to be in the wild, or at least look like it. Its very important that the patterns (if any) stand out. This is, after all, a guide for identifying snakes. :)

This is being done in my spare time, so it will probably be months before I get it done. Maybe even longer.

If anybody can help, please post on here. I would tell you to go ahead and send them to my email, but due to size limitations on Hotmail and Yahoo, I'm afraid I would lose most of them.

Thanks

Hehe Chuck, I was secretly hoping you'd say that. :) Those pics are sooo freakin sweet! I love the coppers and the timbers. They're especially good for showing the patterns.

JD, I have several of my maps done already and I cant imagine going back and including a map of Canada. That would take me pretty much forever... :) Maybe after I get the one done of the US I will do one of Canada. That is, if I havent died of old age before I get the US one done. hehe...

We were not satisfied with the coral, he just wound not stay still. Soon we will try to shoot another with our bigger coral, he is much more lethargic. I’ll post it soon as it’s done. I still need a few more for complete my collection. I need shots of a western cotton, Florida cotton, western pig and a Carolina pig.

Brain, do you have any naturalistic pics of your western pig?
Jeremy, you have any of tiny in a natural environment?
