I find that Florida wrap like no other king snake. I love Floridas!

Wet rodents are an EXCELLENT way to hydrate certain snakes, as captivity and the way we heat our snakes can cause them to lose more water than they are designed for. Offering wet rodents is a well-known trade secret of many breeders to get much-needed fluids back into snakes. Not usually necessary with colubrids, but works great with things like Rainbow Boas and Green Tree Pythons!

A little hatchling trick, speaking of wet rodents. Take a nonfeeding snake, deprive it from water for a few days, offer it a wet prey item overnight & the thirsty snake is attracted to the wet prey & wala it feeds. Mark
