HOLY SH*T! That is sweeeet!! Can you tell me some info about this kick *** boa?
Thanks!
Well, she's a year and a few months old, a bit over 4 feet, tame as a puppy dog, and pounds back rats like you wouldn't believe :)
Anything else you'd like to know? :D

Ya, who produced this amazing boa and are her littermates as beautiful as her?
A small time breeder in Ontario. I don't know if it's okay for me to say his name, so I won't, but he's since sold his collection so it's of no consequence.
Of her litter mates, he held back a paste male. I got two other females along with her and I kept the nicest of the three girls. The other two were lovely, but she was by far the nicest. I should think that all the snakes in that litter were beautiful, but I am proud to say that, save the pastel holdback, I think I got the nicest one :)

That is one of the finest Pastel boas I have ever seen. Are there any plans to breed her in the future? That may be the the nicest pastel in Canada! Hopefully her color stays as she reaches adulthood.
Thank you Jaremy! I didn't even know she could be considered a pastel!
And yep, I'm saving my pennies. Next on the list is a pastel male... hope I can find/afford one!
She eats one med/large rat every 10 days.

I would consider her a pastel based on her overall reduction of black which allows those nice pink and peach tones to shine through along with her orange dorsal markings.
Basically an animal being called a pastel is a matter of opinion unless your animals are from the Boaphile Jeff Ronne who is the creator of Pastel.
Check out this great webpage where he explains pastelism.
Pastelism (http://www.theboaforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=boapics1;action=display;num=10508807 14;start=0)
Here are a couple quotes that the Boaphile made on this page regarding Pastels...
"However the red or orange does not make any Boa "Pastel". The reduction of black makes Pastels Pastel. The red or orange makes them better but do not define them."
"First, what is a "Pastel"? [...] A Pastel is this: A Boa that has an odd overall wash lacking the normal amount of black and a reduction in black pigmentation in particular throughout the pattern. This is particularly apparent in babies, which have the same kind of washed out pattern as Hypos. The saddles as well as the side blotches have less black than "normal". In fact, often the side blotches have no black whatsoever. That's it, no more no less. Now it is unfortunate that this leaves a lot to interpretation. Identifying Pastels can be and is subjective. It is very much a matter of opinion. There are definitely degrees of "Pastelism". How much Pastelism is required to label an animal "Pastel"? I don't know what measure others may use, but I know what I look for in babies. I look for nearly no black in the side pattern. A very small amount of black can be found but nearly none normally. Sorry this can't be more definitive but it just can't.
She's really maturing nicely!! :D

LMAO! I just about messaged you to ask if she was from the same breeder! I asked Zoe earlier in a thread but don't recall getting a response... maybe I just forgot to check :o
Here's the most recent pic I have of my girl...

Zoe, that is the nicest looking "common" BCI I've ever seen. I'm a bit confused about this "pastel" thing too, because it looks like there is plenty of black in the tail saddles.
Tell me folks... here's a pic of my male BCI. His saddles are almost nonexistent, they are so light. Would this be a "pastel" trait?:

Reason I ask is, the saddles look almost the same as Zoe's snake, but my guy seems to lack the yellow wash-over that Zoe's has. But, according to the data posted, pastelism is a lack of black, as opposed to a high yellow. So is my guy pastel too?

That is a very nice light boa!
Invictus, I think your boa could be a pastel, depending on who you're asking. It seems to be all about standards, you know? There is nothing 'exact' that you can look at to tell the difference between pastel and normal.
By my standards, my boa isn't a pastel, she is just a gorgeous normal. But by others' standards, she may very well be.
I think, however, that your's is borderline pastel, because it has a good amount of black speckling on its sides.

That could very well be, Zoe. I've never thought of him as a pastel because I've always associated pastels with not only reduced black, but also very high yellow like yours has. All I know is my BCI is incredible to look at, wonderful to handle, and just an all-round awesome snake. I don't need a fancy morph. :)
