I am writing a paper for my Herpetology class based on an idea I had that I sort of stumbled into while doing a population analysis of nile monitors for my wildlife management class. It would be really great if I could include some statistical oomph in my paper but for that I will need data and for that I will need the community.
What I need is effectively breeding data. I need breedings for which the age and size (weight or length or similar) of the mother were known as well as the number of eggs/young and/or the clutch mass. Basically I will be trying to correlate size and age to fecundity as well as examining for crossover effects and comparing the contributions of the two.
Any species would be useful so please give me all you have. Please forward all data/inquiries to skinheaddave@hotmail.com.
Cheers,
Dave
