I like your enclosure. What is that inside that the snake is on?

The inside of the enclosure is reptile bark on the tank floor. He is sitting on bark from from some trees we cut down.I soaked it in boiling water for an hour then dried it out in the oven for an hour to kill anything that might have been harmful.I like the natural look anytime i can do it.

Thanks for the notes.Iknow that not everyone goes for the natural look but so far i have.nice to look at great addition to any room.Until i pick up the snakes i have coming at the end of the month then i may have to rethink the whole idea. They take awhile to clean and set back up

But thanks again

Do you build all of your cages from scratch?
I'm getting ready to build a nice high humidity tank for my Brazilian so if you wanna show me some pics of you tanks I would love to see them. Home built or just store bought. I want some good ideas for design.

so far i have just used aquariums. The setups are my idea.I just use natural materials(rocks ,wood ,braches). Then i try to make the inside as natural as possible. So far my animals seem happy and healthy, and to me that is all that matters. The tanks are great conversation pieces. In the new tank that i set up yesterday i even have a partial coyote skull,And i'm trying to figure out what to do with a deer antler shed that i found.Check out my firebelly toad tank

Excellent tanks. I'm going to be keeping snakes that have high humidity requirements. Do you have any idea besides living plants (already in the plans) to use inside the tanks that wont be damaged by the high humiditys?
