Mike, you can't link to pics that are on your computer, you'll have to upload it to your ssnakess gallery, or another photo hosting site that allows you to link directly to your pictures (such as imagestation.com, which is what I use...)...

Bull is a Bandogge, a mix between a Mastiff and a Bull breed. Bull's dad was English mastiff x Amerian Bulldog and his mother Neopolitan mastiff x American Staffordshire Terrier. That last pic was taken when he was 7 months and around 100lbs, he is about 115lbs right now with more filling out to do.

Nice to hear from you Andrea, Tank was an incredible dog, such a big baby. I never did get to see your new pup before I left BC.

Guinness record books let us know there is a 10 year old great dane that is 41'' a the whithers.

Sarge measures over 39'', close to 40'' - but I'd like guinness to measure him, they may measure differently.

Sarge weighs around 235 - they did not say what the record holder weighs, but I doubt he weighs 235.

We are seeing about having Sarge classed as Canada's biggest dog - and are currently looking for really big female danes to breed him to.

But now, if a really big female neopolitan mastiff should happen to surface, I'd love to see the babies produced from that.

Ryan, I saw a show once where they had a Dane rescue with about 80 Danes (they kept almost everything they got) and they biggest one weighed in at 280 pounds.

Here is Shooter my Basenji. Basenji means "bush thing" in swahili. They are a barkless hunting dog from central Africa. Look at those eyes...he's a real chick magnet LOL. And can you say trouble??..come to think of it, his father's name is actually "Trouble" lol. Enjoy....

She's a crazy little thing, who snores SO loud.
My parents (Grandma and Grandpa to Maggie) share custody of her with me.
After my mom's pug passed away at 15 years of age their yellow lab got lonely...so now Maggie goes and keeps him company for a month to six weeks at a time every three months or so.

thanks Dawn :) he's about average in both, but he has his days lol. It takes him a while to warm up to strangers, he's not aggressive or anything, but he likes to give them a good sniff down first. Then he'll be your best buddy and won't leave you alone.

I'll be getting another basenji soon, a female from the basenji rescue, so I'll make sure you get to see her too...I'm addicted to them, one day when I have more room I'd like a "pack" of them lol

LOL....actually, mom was the min pin. the woman with the puppies had this litter of 4 puppies needing homes. she said she had no idea what her dog had mated with. all we knew for sure was that they were min pin mixes cuz she had the mom. so i go out and by a toy sized dog crate, and by 3.5 months old my dog can't fit in it anymore! at this point, she is beginning to develop the sable shepard coloring and markings, and then grew into a dog with a shepard temperment. so........we assume mom mated with a shepard or shepard mix. aside from coloring and markings, she is built just like an oversized min pin, with a cute min pin face. she weighs 49.5 lbs., to be exact. so, as u see, anything is possible!

don't have any pics of the doggies here, but my parents and i shere custody of 2 of 3 dogs my dad's Bouvier is 9 now and she gets too depressed if the other dogs are gone for too long. The other 2 are a sweet little chow chow she's pure black and an Australian Cattle dog he's got a lot of dingo in him beautiful dog but has issues with other animals except for the other 2 and the little laso apso SP? i got my grannie. I love everybody's dogs their all just adorable, I hope to post pics of our guys soon
