couldn't like just go and buy a 30 gal tank or 20? it'll be like $1 per gallon.. or something like that.. not that much.. and easier then building..

i have 8 baby ball pythons for sale for $35 a piece or $60 a pair plus shipping! i'm building a 4' x 2' x 2' melamine coated chipboard and acrylic cage for about $75 (heating and lighting included).

Jeff is the man to ask for building great looking cages in no time flat for minimal $$. There was a little step-by-step up on building a 4x2x2 cage for $100 (CDN) in the Enclosure Creation forum. Maybe he'll put it back up for everyone again :)

Here's a pic of our BP Enclosure... lumber ran about $60 {1x3's & Luan} and the poly stain, digital thermometer, light & timer strip & caster wheels ran it just about $130 total. Holds heat & humidity quite well thanks to copious amounts of pre-sanding & finish coats.

Here's a shot pre-stain & decor... it was our first one - next will be not so big... and we're planning on adding them a shelf mid-way for even more of a heat gradient. We've also added a small rubbermaid dishpan full of conditioned water for humidity & bathing for our babies... they seem very comfortable & happy.

Snakedude,

Just saw the reply... how long? Well, it took my wife and I a weekend to build it... and sanding & finishing + polyurethaning... took another weekend... The size is 2' deep x 3' wide x 3' high... we took the perches out and installed a rubbermaid dishpan as a swimming pool / humidity maker.. and a butter dish with moist paper towels as a humidity box. Worked well as Lilith's last shed was complete from eye caps to tail tip this time... what a relief! Thanks for the kind words...
