what kind do you have already? I am thinking about getting a male Ambanja. They are so beautiful! Sambavas are nice, too.
If you want a panther and already have a nosy be then I'd have to say ambanja. If I were you I would think about something other than a panther though. Lately I've been intrigued by Meller's.

well personally humm there is not much out there I do know that i have seen one adult male meller and a pet store name not to be mentioned but they wanted way too much for him and he looked to be wild caught but im not sure $500 i beleave they wanted. jacksons are great if u can find one lol.
Mabey you should wait a bit on getting a baby they are much harder some times it is extremly hard to find small crix which they will eat like they are starving all the time, and they have to be given lots of water and just tend to be much more work then u think. Im not saying dont get one but make sure u are prepared and are ready for the increased cost and responsibility of a little guy.
I agree, get one that is at least 3-5 months old. I would say since you already have a panther, try something else. Try a montane species like jacksonii or fischerii, the montiums are very interesting.
If you're set on panthers, get an Ambanja. They are my favourite locale and they tend to change the most colours whereas Nosy Bes just tend to stay the traditional blue.

Actually .. i guess it depends on how mch you want to spend .. Ambilobes are by far the most colour and amazing panthers out there .. now paying 600 for one is another story ...

I wasn't aware we even had Ambilobes in Canada yet. Did Trace get her pair yet?

There are one or two lone males in Canada right now. No females as far as I know.
I still can not discuss my deal for my pair of Ambilobes publically at this point. Sorry!
Cheers!
