Ok, so there's this little banana king at the store where I buy my feeders. He/she looks really nice. I was wondering if anyone could post a pic of an adult banana. I have been into pythons so far so this would be my first colubrid.
If it's there in two weeks when I go back, I am pretty sure that I'll be plunking down some coin . Any thoughts on the topic would be welcome too.

Here's a pic of two 18 month old ones. Not adults by a long shot but they are pics nontheless. :)

p.s. And they're for sale! ;)

Beautiful :D

The little one that caught my eye is 135 CAN so I guess the price isn't that far out.
Sorry, the hook is already baited here. They will be able to reel me in the next time I go to that place lol

Here's an adult cal king I used to have. That should give you a good idea on their adult size. :)

The one that I am looking at looks alot like the pic of the female that you posted before. They really are nice looking snakes.

Here's a pic of my male. I think he was about 2 years old when this pic was taken. His pics always seem to make him look whiter than he really is.

Yeah the yellow on the little one that I am thinking of buying is very pale but he/she can't be more than about 4 months old. Would the yellow weaken or get stronger as it grows?

The yellow in calikings gets stronger with age. Most calikings come out of the egg very white with no yellows.

Thanks for the info and pics. I do like the looks and maybe a banana king will end up being my first colubrid. :D

We bought a banana cali king, a year ago, it had an interesting "blotched" color pattern. She is VERY interested in everything that moves around her tank, and LOVES to tease our cat! She is a very good eater, and a sweetie when we handle her.
GREAT choice! The DOC and Jan
