i wouldnt. what you insects eat, is what your gecko will eat. not a suggested plan for you to do. jmho

chances are nething u catch outside has a parasite or bacteria unknown to the immune system of a captive bred reptile.

Bugs are cheap, its not worth the risk of feeding something that you have no idea what it has eaten! Stick with the ones from your pet store :) I mean give or take...100 meal worms - $4 waxies 12 - $1....12 crix - $1 they're very inexpensive.....

i agree i wouldnt do it because even if you dont get your lawn sprayed maybe your neighbor does, or someone a cpuple houses down..to risky and as darkhunter said, bugs ARE cheep so you mighaswell get those..

ive heard in many places that bugs from outside could be much more healthy then bred bugs because they eat a WIDE variety of food and they have more nutrients then cb bugs but still it is very risky because of the pesticides.

They may have more nutritional value, but they also do not have any quality control over not only pesticdes as you mentioned, but also parasite loads as well. Wc animals aren't infested with parasites because of the air they breathe, its what they eat and drink that does it for the most part.

Forme me,I didn't give to my geckoes ,garden'sbugt because they can contain insecticid and they can be vector of diseases which can be lethal for geckoes.I feed my geckoes only with Bugs like crickets and grasshopper I buy in Pet shop

as others have stated i wouldn't because of the pesticides. Don't forget that many petstores don't have proper hygine and your insects could still have parasites in them(mostly crix). That's why i give 1 or 2 fecals a year for my colony (just incase)
