Argh... Accidents suck!!

Bleh i was stopped, turning into my dentists today and some guy rear ended me at like 60km/h.... He didnt even hit his brakes, what a nut!! Pushed the bed of the truck right into the cab... Mad hectic... Argh first accident I have been in as the driver and im not liking it!!! :grab: lol ah well live and learn!! $3800 in damage good thing I have good insurance... Not so bad though, they gave me a 2003 Chevy Tahoe as a rental!! :D

thanks guys!! I am going to go to the doctors tommorow if I can get some time off work... neck seems a little stiff tonight but nothing major... :D Another good thing is I didnt have to end up going to the dentist where i was turning into when i got hit!! :p

wow, that happened to my boyfriend last year in his Dodge, she didnt bother to stop either....$2500 in damage, looks like there is more then one person out there that cant stop!! keep an eye on it, he didnt feel much of anything until about 24 hrs after, then it hit. hope you feel fine

Thanks guys!!! I think i should be okay... I had whip lash type pain once before but i was in the passenger seat and you guys are right, 1 - 2 days later and I was aching!! :o) Maybe its best to take the afternoon off work and go to the doctors!! Better to be safe then sorry! :D

I'm glad you're ok. Too bad about your truck, they're never the same after an accident. The other thing Jeff is do what ever the doctor says. I was rearended in 94 and my neck is still messed up and always will be.

Jeff, i know that you like having a mechanic at your disposal for all the crazy mods your always doing to that truck....but i have to say..this i dont think i can fix :(

Sucks man...after all the time and work put into that thing, the care, the cleaning etc...the truck that never had a spot of dust on it and crunch. Like i always say, its not your driving that you have to be careful about...its the other guys! Don't worry, the body shop will have it all fixed up and back to new before you know it!!!

But he may not have insurance. One of my accidents, got nailed almost head on by a drunk guy in a truck that hadn't even been insured yet. Completley totalled my car. A$$hole took off too, and hit two more cars :mad:

My worst one was while i was sleeping. LOL i was at home in bed and some lady passed out and hit my boyfriends truck then bounce off that into my car (my first brand new car) and TOTALED it. Hit my car so hard it took out the mail box and was sitting in the front yard. My car also left skid marks on the sidewalk( and it was in park). I was so pissed off. Then her insurance company tried to screw me buy paying me less than what was on my loan.

That sucks, Jeff! Hope your truck looks (and runs!) good as new when it's fixed up - that's a sweet ride! Being rearended sucks big time - my mom got nailed thursday, and let me tell ya, she's not the quietest person to chauffeur around. I really thought I WAS slowing down for the corners... ;)

Definitely get checked out for whiplash. Even if the doc just says to take advil, it'll be on record that you went in case the matter ever comes up.

Hopefully the guy that nailed you is going to be charged with careless - your insurance company will like that for sure...

Jeff F....yeah its manditory in Ontario as well! Same results except that it is a $5000 fine first time caught without insurance and i believe second time is jail time.
