I will start the thread with my female Chilobrachys fimbriatus (Indian Violet)... I managed to drag her out of her burrow... but I could not capture the violet femurs on the picture... sorry...

Next is my female Haplopelma schmidti (Chinese Golden)... those have magnificient white mustaches around the chelicerae (not visible on the picture)... This is one pretty agressive species... watch out for your fingers!

Good lord Tarcan! You never cease to amaze me, your spiders and invertebrate setup alike! So, when can I pay a visit? :D

Whenever you want to come and visit that is fine with me, I would be more then happy to receive you! Although, this may be a long trip from Calgary!LOL

I was hoping that someone would share a nice Haplopelma lividum picture... anyone?

Take care

Martin

Here is another uncommon theraphosid, Haplopelma albostriatum (Thailand Zebra). Do not get fooled this has nothing to do with Aphonopelma seemani (Costa Rican Zebra)... do not put your fingers in there!LOL

A freshly molted specimen fo this species is of metallic bluish-black sheen under the right lighting... a real stunner...

An overall view of it's enclosure and burrow... letting them burrow is vital if you want to have a healthy and calm specimen... do not be tempted to see them often by not allowing them to burrow...
